These photos, for this particular series were inspired by a beautiful day and the beautiful scenery of Lake Champlain in August of 2005.

The Big Eye In The Sky seems to be looking down upon us from the heavens in this one. The strange cloud formation intersected by the mast looks a bit like an eye.

The big eye in the sky is looking at you...

So, that means that someone is watching you.

A very strange thing happened when I took this photo. I saw a very young woman dive into the water off of that boat. She never came back up. At least I couldn't spot her anywhere. The guy that was in the vessel also vanished and I simply could not get a shot of either of them.

I felt bad all of a sudden like something was lost forever, never to be returned. Like the waves on the surface. Never looking the same way twice. The whole time with The Big Eye just watching us. It seemed really mystical.

And it will never happen again.
