This painting is 18 inches wide by 24 inches tall.

I did this painting based on a photograph that I took of Lake Champlain in August of 2005. I was going for a Monet kind of style here. I was considering the idea of using pointillism as a way of expressing the humidity and color that was in the air.

There was an amazing amount of joggers, skaters, people on bikes, and a number of people sailing on the lake.
