This drawing was created using guauch, drawing ink (pen and ink), and Fabriaono Hot Press paper.

I was designing the page to develop strong contrasts between the objects that are on the page. There are two other drawings like this one, in this style, on the bottom of this page.

GOT TO THE HI-RES PAGE

The picture to the right is a very abstract pastel drawing that I did of a model in the studio where I used to work. I was experimenting with a style that was new to me at the time; cubism. Although this in no way is anything like the famous NUDE DESCENDING A STAIRCASE, I nonetheless was inspired by that one peice as I had read about it extensively in Art History classes.

This is the same pastel picture as above except with a slightly different color pattern. Here, the violets turn up a little on the green end of the spectrum.$$$ $ ©© 200©$ ©$ 9

The variations of these images come from using Photoshop's Variations in the software.

Color Pencil Illustration.

This drawing is part of a series that involves a depiction of a model while she is running a towel through her wet hair. She has just gotten done washing her hair in the shower and is now getting ready to go out.

This is another version of the woman with her hair all wet. I used this picture over and over to see what color variations I could get with the Replace Color command in Photoshop.

As you see, I worked with many color variations here to experiment with how the image would look like in different modes.

This particular image is a bit too complex to explain within this small space, so if you click onto the image, you will get the full page that shows the high-res image as well as the literature to explain the concept behind the peice.

Right out of The Shower.

I have to say, my rendition, even though it is obviously headed into a more abstract vein, does not do the model any justice whatsoever. That being said, I have no problem saying that this peice is one of my stronger works. This is meant to depict a woman as she comes out of the shower. Please look at the high-resolution images by clicking on the pictures to the right.

This particular work is meant to be expressive in so much that I have been able to come up with color variations that work to make a statement about a woman that is happy to be going out on the town with her freinds. It is that moment when one can finally say that she is actually leaving behind the confines of her daily routines to appreciate the company of freinds in fellowship.$$$ $ ©© 200©$ ©$ 9

These pieces are untitled because I did not intend to ever show them on this site. I changed my mind and thought that they were kind of interesting to look at.
