This painting is 33 inches wide by 40 inches tall. Some strange folks in these parts have, in their relatively limited knowledge of art, likened this peice to the heavy handedness of some of VanGogh's masterpeices. Frankly, I think that they would say that about any work that I did. So, I decided to paint a bunch of work just to see what they would say. I was right. They said that about all of my paintings and this proves that they know very little about art.

The most asked question that I get asked about this peice is in regards to the color of the trees.

They ask, "Why did you paint the tree purple?" I can't honestly imagine any one quite so dull as to beleive that they are

native New Englanders when they have never even seen purple trees before!

Well, strange people are everywhere, I guess. It takes all kinds-don't it?
